Legal
Website Terms
The rules for using this public website, separated from the written agreement required for any product pilot.
What these terms cover
These terms govern your use of the MatterGraph public website and pilot inquiry form.
Submitting an inquiry does not create a pilot relationship, purchase, confidentiality agreement, attorney-client relationship, or obligation for either side. Product access requires a separate written agreement. That agreement controls product use and product data.
What MatterGraph is
MatterGraph is an early-stage fact-organization and intake workflow for law firms. Public product screens and sample matters illustrate the current preview and intended workflow. Features may change or may not be available in every evaluation.
MatterGraph is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice, assess legal merit, recommend strategy, or make legal decisions. AI-assisted outputs are suggestions that require professional review and verification before use.
Professional responsibility
A law firm remains responsible for client communication, confidentiality, privilege analysis, supervision, technology competence, verification of outputs, and compliance with the rules that apply to its jurisdiction and matters.
Website descriptions of access controls, review states, or workflow boundaries are product information, not a legal conclusion that use of a particular configuration satisfies a firm’s duties.
Acceptable use
You may use the public website for lawful evaluation and communication. You may not:
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the website, infrastructure, or another person’s information.
- Interfere with website operation, probe for vulnerabilities without written authorization, or introduce malicious code.
- Use the inquiry form to submit client matter content, privileged documents, government identifiers, or unlawful material.
- Misrepresent your identity or authority to act for a firm.
- Copy or use website content in a way that infringes intellectual property or other rights.
Website content and sample matters
Website content is provided for general product information. Sample people, firms, matters, events, documents, dates, and status labels are illustrative unless expressly identified otherwise.
Practice-area pages describe possible intake workflows. They do not state what evidence is legally sufficient, what questions counsel must ask, or how any matter should be evaluated.
Availability and third-party services
We may change, suspend, or discontinue website features. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.
The website relies on hosting, analytics, and form-delivery providers. Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience; their terms and privacy practices apply when you use them.
Disclaimer
The public website and its content are provided as available for informational purposes. To the extent permitted by law, MatterGraph disclaims warranties that are not expressly stated in a separate written agreement.
Nothing in these terms excludes rights or obligations that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Changes and contact
We may update these website terms as the site and pilot change. The effective date above will be updated when revised terms are published.
